Terms of Service

Knitty is operated by Fourello Inc., a corporation registered in the Republic of the Philippines, with its principal office in Quezon City, Philippines. When you make a payment, it may appear on your bank or e-wallet statement as Fourello Inc. rather than Knitty. You can reach us at support@knitty.baby.

Knitty, including Knitty ai and any AI-generated insights, is informational only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Knitty ai does not diagnose, prescribe, or tell you whether something is or isn’t “normal.” Always talk to your doctor or other qualified provider about your pregnancy and any medical questions or decisions.

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter.

If you invite a partner to share a pregnancy, they gain full read and write access to that pregnancy’s records — this is a mutual relationship, not a view-only one, and it stays in effect until either of you removes the link. See the Privacy Policy’s “Sharing your pregnancy with a partner” section for the full mechanics. By inviting someone, you’re agreeing to share access on those terms; by accepting an invitation, so are they.

You agree not to:

• Use Knitty for anyone’s medical records other than your own, or those you’re authorized to manage (i.e., a pregnancy you’re the primary account holder for, or one you’ve been genuinely invited to as a partner).
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data outside of a pregnancy you’re legitimately linked to.
• Use the app in any way that disrupts its normal operation or attempts to bypass its security.
• Upload content you don’t have the right to share.

You retain ownership of everything you add to Knitty — journal entries, photos, documents, and chat messages. You’re granting us only the limited permission needed to store it and process it (including sending relevant parts to our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to generate a response to you — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what’s sent and how it’s handled) in order to provide the app’s features back to you. We do not sell your data.

If you share a pregnancy with a partner, content either of you adds becomes part of that shared pregnancy record, readable and editable by both of you for as long as you’re linked — see “Sharing a pregnancy with a partner” above.

• Deleting an individual record removes it immediately and permanently. There is no undo period.
• Deleting your account (available any time from Account settings) permanently removes your profile, checkups, journal entries, photos, medications, and expenses, and cannot be undone.
• We do not currently offer a way to export or download your data before or after account closure. If you want a copy of your records before deleting your account, you’d need to save or screenshot them yourself first, or contact support@knitty.baby to ask.

Knitty starts with a free 30-day trial — the whole app, 30 Knitty ai messages, no card required. After the trial, continued access to Knitty ai requires a paid plan; everything you’ve already recorded stays fully readable and editable either way — see “What happens when your access ends” below.

Plans

• Monthly — ₱149. Covers one month of access from the date your paid period begins.
• Whole pregnancy — ₱999, paid once.Covers nine months from the date your paid period begins, or until eight weeks after your estimated due date, whichever is later. If you update your due date, we recalculate — but only ever in your favour. We will never shorten access you’ve already paid for.

Both plans include the whole app and cover both linked accounts — one payment for the two of you. Paid plans include 300 Knitty ai messages per month, which reset monthly from your payment date and do not roll over.

How payment works

We currently accept payment through QR Ph, processed by PayMongo. There is no stored card and no automatic charge — every payment is one you actively make.

Renewal and cancellation

Because nothing is stored and nothing is charged automatically, there is no subscription to cancel. If you don’t want to continue, simply don’t renew.

If you’re on the monthly plan, we’ll remind you by email before your access ends. Your access continues for five days past your expiry date so a missed reminder doesn’t cut you off mid-week. If you renew within those five days, your new month picks up where the last one ended — you don’t lose the gap.

If you buy during your free trial

You keep every remaining free day. Your paid period starts when your trial ends, not when you pay. Your 300 monthly Knitty ai messages start immediately.

Refunds

If you change your mind, email us at support@knitty.baby within 14 days of payment and we’ll refund you in full. Refunds go back through QR Ph to the account you paid from, and usually arrive within a few minutes.

Refunds are all-or-nothing — our payment provider doesn’t support partial refunds on QR Ph, so we can’t refund part of a plan and keep the rest running. A refund ends your paid access.

If you’ve experienced a pregnancy loss, please just email us. We’ll refund you without questions. If it’s been longer than our payment provider allows us to process a refund directly, we’ll send the money back to you by bank or e-wallet transfer instead — tell us where to send it and we’ll sort it out.

What happens when your access ends

Your records stay. When a paid period ends, Knitty ai is paused until you renew — journal entries, checkups, documents, medications, and expenses remain fully readable and editable regardless. We don’t restrict anything because you stopped paying, and we don’t delete anything either. If you’d rather close your account entirely, that’s available any time from Account settings, free, per “Data retention, deletion, and export” above.

Changes to pricing

If we change prices, the change applies to new purchases only. A plan you’ve already paid for runs to its end date at the price you paid.

Knitty is provided “as is.” While we work to keep the app accurate and reliable, we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose beyond general pregnancy tracking and organization.

You can stop using Knitty and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If something goes wrong, please email us first at support@knitty.baby — most things are faster to fix that way. If a dispute can’t be resolved between us, it will be brought exclusively before the proper courts of Quezon City, to the exclusion of all other venues.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under Philippine law that cannot be waived by agreement — including your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and, where applicable, the Consumer Act of the Philippines.

If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
