Is Knitty a substitute for my doctor?
No. Knitty organises your records and helps you understand them — it doesn’t diagnose, prescribe, or advise. Anything that matters goes to your OB. What Knitty is good at is making sure you walk into that appointment knowing what to ask.
What does the ai actually do?
It reads your own records — your checkups, medications, lab results, uploaded documents — and answers questions about them.
You can ask what “slightly elevated” meant on your last chart, or what to bring up at the next visit, and get an answer grounded in your pregnancy rather than a general article. Photograph a medicine box and it adds it to your list; upload a lab result and it pulls out what matters.
It’s not a search engine with a friendly voice — it answers from what you’ve saved.
Does it speak Tagalog?
Yes. Write in Taglish and Knitty answers in Taglish; write in English and it answers in English. It follows you, including mid-conversation. Medical terms stay in English, the way people actually talk.
Can my partner use it too?
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Invite them by email, they set a password, and you’re both looking at the same records — his account, her account, one subscription.
Either of you can add an appointment, upload a document, or write in the journal. Neither has to relay anything to the other.
Is my data private?
Everything is encrypted on its way to us and encrypted while it sits there. Your documents live in private storage that opens only through short-lived links — never a public URL. And the database itself enforces who can see what, so one account can’t reach another’s records even by mistake.
Only you, and the partner you invite, can open your pregnancy. We don’t sell your data and we don’t share it with advertisers.
Do I need to enter a card to try it?
No. The 30-day trial needs no payment details.
What happens after the 30 days?
You pick a plan, or the ai features pause — the personal ai and the weekly report. Everything else keeps working exactly as before: your checkups, medications, journal, documents, and expenses stay fully readable and editable, and reminders keep firing.
Nothing about your records ever locks, whether you subscribe or not. You can pick a plan any time and pick up right where you left off.
How do I pay?
Scan and pay with whichever banking or e-wallet app you already use — most Philippine banks and wallets support it.
Direct GCash, Maya, and card options are on the way — they'll appear here the moment they're live, not before.
Is there an app I can install?
You don’t need one. Knitty runs in your browser, so it works on anything — laptop, phone, tablet, Android, iOS. Sign in and your records are there, whichever device you’re holding.
If you’d rather have it as an app, add it to your home screen and it opens like one — its own icon, full screen, notifications. There’s no App Store or Play Store version yet.
Will it remind me about medications and appointments?
Yes. Medication reminders at the times you set, and a reminder the day before an appointment. Both partners get them.
Can I use it for a second pregnancy later?
Not yet. Knitty currently handles one pregnancy at a time. Multiple pregnancies and post-birth tracking are what we’re building next.
